Celkon phones now in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Celkon mobile phones are now available in Nepal.Next Generation Enterprise (NGE) Solution launched the popular Indian brand in the Nepali market.

The company has launched eight models of Celkon phones -- Q455, Q500 Ultra, Q5, A20, A354 C, A115, C5S, C609 Star, C5 Plus and C344 models. While Q455 and Q500 Ultra are smartphones, remaining six models are bar phones.

According to the company, Q455 runs on Android KitKat version is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. The phone has 4.5-inch QHD IPS display, 16 GB internal memory, 1GB Ram, 8MP rear camera and 2,000mAh battery. Q500 Ultra also runs on 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, but has 2GB RAM. It has 16 GB internal memory, 8 MP rear camera, and 2 MP front camera. The phone is powered by 2,500 mAh battery. Both the models are dual-SIM phones.



Issuing a statement, NGE Solution said Celkon mobile phones have been made available through more than two dozen outlets across the country. The company is providing one-year warranty on handset and six-month replacement guarantee on battery.

Sarad Bhattarai, managing director of NGE Solution, said Celkon mobile phones will be through multi-brand outlets in New Road, Kalanki, New Baneshwar, Koteshwar, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur in the capital as well as in Narayanghat, Hetauda, Birgunj, Janakpur, Lahan, Rajbiraj, Itahari, Dharan, Damak, Birtamod, Dhangadi, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Dang, Butwal, Pokhara, Damauli and Dolakha.

“Celkon is eyeing a big share in Nepali mobile phone market within a short period like it has done in other countries like India," Bhattarai said, adding that their focus would be on making customers satisfied through better service. myrepublica.com
