Shovaram Mahato in Sixteen Photo [Photo Story]

I met Shovaram Mahato at Baghkhor, Kawasoti Nawalparasi, Nepal on Feb 17, 2017. I was there for a week training organized by Friends of Nature on Wildlife Conservation for Journalists. That time Shovaram was working near his house. I asked to take photos and he did agree.

He was working without a leg. And I asked him about how he lost his right leg. He told his horrible story. When Shovaram was working his farm, straight he faced with one horned Rhino. Rhino attacked him and wounded him.

After the fight, he went into Hospital and his leg was amputated . He returned at home losing a leg. The condition of the family was terrible. He was the backbone of the family. He became jobless and wordless, however, his family support him for bright future.

Now he is the owner of Home Stay, Amaltari Home Stay is one of the famous Home Stay in Nepal. Now a days, helps to save Rhino.
