Tipper hit the scooter, One Killed, Jadibuti, Bhaktapur, Photos and Video

The identity of woman, who was killed after a tipper hit the scooter she was riding at Jadibuti in Bhaktapur on Wednesday, has been ascertained.

According to Metropolitan Traffic Police, the deceased has been identified as the 24-year-old Asmita Rajbhandari of Gaur Rautahat.

Police informed that the accident took place when the tipper (Ba 4 Kha 3558) heading from Bhaktapur to Kathmandu hit the ill-fated scooter ( Ba 7 Pa 9399) she was riding.

Police have taken both the vehicles involved in the accident under control.

Earlier, the irate locals set ablaze the tipper involved in the accident and also blocked the Bhaktapur-Kathmandu road section to protest the woman’s death. 12 june/2018
