Buffalo enters hospital‚ shot dead

A visibly enraged buffalo today went spread panic for two hours in a Buddhanagar-based private hospital, entering even the emergency ward. After failing to take the bovine under control, police had to shoot it dead.

Panic spread among the patients, their caretakers and staff of the hospital when a buffalo suddenly appeared in the Outpatient Department and then Emergency ward of the Hams Hospital at around 10.30 am, said DSP Ramesh Kumar Tamang, in-charge of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Baneshwor, quoting the hospital staff.
