PM Koirala extends gratitude for condolence on brother’s demise

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has extended sincere gratitude to all those who condoled him in the passing away of his younger brother, Dr. Arun Koirala.

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Koirala extended gratefulness to the Nepali citizens and foreign diplomats for their cooperation and condolence at a time when he was in grief, read a statement issued today by NC Central Office Chief Secretary Rishikesh Tiwari.



Prime Minister Koirala's brother Dr. Arun Koirala, 73, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in the Indian capital, New Delhi, on November 18.

Dr. Koirala, suffering from pneumonia, was treated at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu for long. Koirala had served numbers of patients at different hospitals of the country as a professional doctor.

He was also the President of Nepali Congress , Banke.

Prime Minister Koirala was also present at the ritual programme organised on the 13th day of the demise of his brother at Pashupati Rajrajeswori on Sunday, the press release further informed.-ekantipur.com
